Its battery is rated for 18 hours, while the JBL Partybox 1000 needs an outlet. At 37.5 lbs (17 kg) it weighs much less than the JBL Partybox 1000 at 75 lbs (34 kg). It is rated IPX4, while the JBL Partybox 1000 has no water resistance.
One note: the JBL Partybox 310 is discontinued, but it still ranks #4 of 44 party speakers by sound quality, ahead of most of what is still sold new, so it is worth considering used.

A 12-inch down-firing woofer, two 7-inch midranges and a compression horn tweeter run on 1100W, with mic and guitar inputs and a waterfall light show. A handle and wheels make the 34 kg cabinet easy to move.
