Short answer: the Soundboks Mix, if you are buying new. The JBL Partybox 100 ranks higher than it (#8 vs #29 of 44 party speakers, 4.4/5 vs 3.2/5) but is discontinued, so only consider it used; the Soundboks Mix is still sold new at $799.
The JBL Partybox 100 is the better-sounding choice. Quite neutral sound, pretty deep bass. Watch for: A slight peak in the upper mids.
The Soundboks Mix is the longer-running, tougher option. USB-C fast charging (65W) for the swappable battery, up to 40 hours of battery life at mid-volume, IP65 dust/water resistance, and TeamUp linking with up to 5 other SKAA-equipped Soundboks speakers. It is rated for 40 hours of battery against 12 for the JBL Partybox 100. It is rated IP65, while the JBL Partybox 100 has no water resistance. It links with other speakers (TeamUp, up to 5 speakers), which the JBL Partybox 100 cannot. The tradeoff: Doesn’t have as deep of bass as higher-ranked speakers, and can sound somewhat bright in the treble.
Buy the Soundboks Mix, since the JBL Partybox 100 is discontinued and only worth hunting down used.

Newer model: the JBL Partybox Club 120, ranked higher, rated 4.5/5.
Pros: Quite neutral sound, pretty deep bass. Measured bass extension of 41Hz (-10dB).
Cons: A slight peak in the upper mids. Slight TWS issue where the 2nd is slightly delayed. Just as loud and slightly deeper bass than a Stormbox Blast which is way smaller with better sound quality. Discontinued.

Older model: the Soundboks Go (ranked lower, rated 3.1/5).
Pros: USB-C fast charging (65W) for the swappable battery, up to 40 hours of battery life at mid-volume, IP65 dust/water resistance, and TeamUp linking with up to 5 other SKAA-equipped Soundboks speakers. High efficiency drivers reach 2-3x the volume of typical speakers for the same wattage.
Cons: Doesn’t have as deep of bass as higher-ranked speakers, and can sound somewhat bright in the treble. Only 72W of output and a single 10-inch woofer, less powerful than the Soundboks Go or Soundboks 4, and no microphone input for karaoke like the Pro Panel models.
