Short answer: the JBL Partybox 100, since the Sony SRS-XP700 has a weird midrange peak. The XP700 uses dual 6.69-inch woofers and multi-tweeter X-Balanced units with a rear tweeter for a 360 effect, but its midrange peak is strange. The Partybox 100 sounds quite neutral with pretty deep bass, its own flaw a slight peak in the upper mids.
Buy the JBL Partybox 100 only if you find one used in good condition; both are discontinued, and it is the better rated of the two. For a new speaker, start with the JBL Partybox Stage 320 instead.

Newer model: the JBL Partybox Club 120, ranked higher, rated 4.5/5.
Pros: Quite neutral sound, pretty deep bass. Measured bass extension of 41Hz (-10dB).
Cons: A slight peak in the upper mids. Slight TWS issue where the 2nd is slightly delayed. Just as loud and slightly deeper bass than a Stormbox Blast which is way smaller with better sound quality. Discontinued.
