What the JBL Clip 3 does well: Aux in. The tradeoff: Less bass than the Clip.
Buy the JBL Clip 4. It is rated higher for sound quality and still sold new, while the JBL Clip 3 is discontinued.
If water resistance matters to you, the JBL Clip 4 at IP67 (brief submersion) holds up far better than the JBL Clip 3 at no water resistance.
