Short answer: the Harman Kardon Luna 2 for better sound quality, the W-King D320 for the lower price. The Harman Kardon Luna 2 ranks #25 of 177 medium speakers, rated 4.1/5, at $199.95. The W-King D320 ranks #49, rated 3.6/5, at $52.92, $147.03 cheaper.
The Harman Kardon Luna 2 is the better-sounding, lighter pick. A stylish waterproof speaker with clear, spacious mids, tight bass that stays clean at volume, and stereo pairing with a second unit. At 1.6 lbs (735 g) it weighs much less than the W-King D320 at 3.1 lbs (1.4 kg). The tradeoff: Treble can sound bright and edgy, and it loses more output off-axis than some rivals.
The W-King D320 is the longer-running option. An affordable waterproof travel speaker with loud, punchy bass, long battery life, an aux input, microSD playback and app EQ. It is rated for 24 hours of battery against 12 for the Harman Kardon Luna 2. It keeps a wired aux input, which the Harman Kardon Luna 2 lacks. Watch for: A single D320 is not stereo, and its warm balance trades away some detail and upper-treble air.
Buy the Harman Kardon Luna 2 when sound quality outweighs the price for you, and the W-King D320 when the price outweighs sound quality instead.
