Short answer: the Harman Kardon Luna 2. It ranks #25 of 177 medium speakers by sound quality, rated 4.1/5, at $199.95. The Klipsch Nashville ranks #83, rated 3.3/5, at $89.99, $109.96 cheaper, not enough of a saving to outweigh the sound-quality gap.
The Harman Kardon Luna 2 is the better-sounding, lighter choice. A stylish waterproof speaker with clear, spacious mids, tight bass that stays clean at volume, and stereo pairing with a second unit. At 1.6 lbs (735 g) it weighs noticeably less than the Klipsch Nashville at 2.1 lbs (970 g). The tradeoff: Treble can sound bright and edgy, and it loses more output off-axis than some rivals.
The Klipsch Nashville is the longer-running choice. A rugged, rubber coated waterproof speaker with long battery life and fast charging that can also charge your phone. It is rated for 24 hours of battery against 12 for the Harman Kardon Luna 2. Watch for: Upper bass boost.
Buy the Harman Kardon Luna 2. It is rated higher for sound quality, and the $109.96 you would save on the Klipsch Nashville does not close the gap.
