Pros: 8-inch (205mm) driver with a 150W Class D amplifier. Genelec rates it at 25-150Hz within 3dB (22Hz at -6dB) and 104dB short-term maximum output. Six analog XLR inputs for up to 5.1 bass management, AES/EBU digital input, and GLM network control with room calibration.
Cons: No independent measurements yet, so its output can’t be compared with ranked subwoofers. Room calibration needs Genelec’s GLM kit or 9320A controller, sold separately.

Pros: 12-inch sealed driver delivers 113.9dB CEA-2010-A average, the highest output of any subwoofer in the under-30lb weight class. Sealed enclosure keeps bass tight and controlled for its compact footprint.
Cons: As a sealed box it gives up output in the deepest octave: 91dB at 20Hz and 97.7dB at 25Hz, where a ported subwoofer like the RSL Speedwoofer 10S MKII reaches 100dB and 105dB. Its strength is the 50 to 80Hz range, so it suits music and smaller rooms better than movie effects that dig below 30Hz.
