Short answer: the AsciLab F6Bs. It ranks #20 of 222 bookshelf speakers by sound quality (rated 4.5/5); the ELAC DBR62 ranks #79 (rated 4.0/5).
The ELAC DBR62 is the deeper-bass choice. An affordable bookshelf speaker that is very forgiving of placement and aiming, with wide sound and a little extra bass punch. Its bass reaches about 53Hz before falling 3dB, against 82Hz for the AsciLab F6Bs. Watch for: A slight recess in the 1-2kHz region reduces vocal presence somewhat compared to other speakers in direct comparison.
The AsciLab F6Bs is the better-sounding option. A slim, sealed bookshelf speaker that mounts flat on a wall bracket, with accurate sound and wide, even dispersion for a great price. The tradeoff: AsciLab’s own site shows the F6Bs sold out, though it remains in stock through resellers like Audiophonics and Tested Audio.
Buy the AsciLab F6Bs. It is rated higher for sound quality than the ELAC DBR62.
