Both share the same core feature: high-resolution digital input, though the S3000Pro’s tops out at 96kHz/24bit against the S2000MKIII’s 192kHz/24bit, a lower ceiling despite the higher price. Neither has a listed con.
The S3000Pro does add room adjustment EQ, a feature the S2000MKIII’s spec table doesn’t list, which is its one concrete differentiator.
Buy the S2000MKIII. It ranks better relatively, costs less, and even edges out the S3000Pro on the shared digital-input spec.
