The EarFun Uboom L is the better-sounding, deeper-bass option. A great value medium speaker with clear, natural sound, waterproofing, and a Video Mode that keeps audio in sync with video. Its bass reaches about 56Hz before falling 10dB, against 82Hz for the Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 2. Alan Ross Reviews measured it at 103dB at full volume, against 88dB for the Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 2. It is rated for 16 hours of battery against 12 for the Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 2. The Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 2 is the lighter option. A small waterproof speaker that floats and is light enough to toss in a bag for the pool or beach. At 0.9 lbs (420 g) it weighs noticeably less than the EarFun Uboom L at 1.4 lbs (650 g). Watch for: Not stereo, barely any bass, recessed treble.
Buy the EarFun Uboom L. It is rated higher for sound quality than the Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 2 and costs less, so only choose the other one for a particular feature it does better.
