Short answer: both are discontinued, so this only matters if you are buying used, though neither ranks well in its class. Used, the Diamondboxx M3 is the better pick: it ranks #76 of 112 boombox speakers by sound quality (rated 2.8/5), against #82 (rated 2.6/5) for the Bumpboxx Flare 6. Both are rated below 3.0/5 among the 112 boombox speakers; for better sound, the Tribit Stormbox Blast ranks #2 at $179.99.
The Diamondboxx M3 is the longer-running pick. A compact, very loud boombox with a powerful amplifier and a choice of large battery packs. It is rated for 40 hours of battery against 12 for the Bumpboxx Flare 6. Watch for: Despite its output, bass does not reach as deep as the best large portables and can distort when pushed hard.
The Bumpboxx Flare 6 is the tougher pick. A retro styled stereo party speaker with water resistance and a 12 hour battery. It is rated IPX6, while the Diamondboxx M3 has no water resistance.
Buy the Diamondboxx M3 only if you find one used in good condition; both are discontinued, and it is the better rated of the two. For a new speaker, start with the Tribit Stormbox Blast instead.
