What the B&W Zeppelin Pro gets right: Titanium dome tweeters, an improved 24-bit DAC, and the same wide soundstage and deep bass extension as the standard Zeppelin. The catch: it’s basically an indoor-only speaker with no battery or waterproofing, at more than double the price.
On the Sonos Move 2 side: Warm sounding with slightly better midrange clarity than the original Move, plus actual portability and battery power. The tradeoff: not very loud, and our notes flag the same full-volume concerns as the original Move.
Buy the B&W Zeppelin Pro at $899 if you want a powered desktop speaker. Buy the Sonos Move 2 at $399 if you want a large speaker instead.

B&W Zeppelin Pro: $899.00 Amazon
Pros: Titanium dome tweeters and an improved 24-bit DAC over the standard Zeppelin for slightly better high-frequency detail on hi-res streams. Dynamic EQ DSP. Customizable downward-firing light. Same wide soundstage and deep bass extension as the standard Zeppelin.
Cons: Same price as the standard Zeppelin for a fairly modest tweeter/DAC upgrade. Nothing besides the lack of battery, lack of waterproofing, high cost and the Earfun Uboom X that’s so close to it in terms of sound quality for 7x less money. Basically an indoor only speaker. Although at this price point I’d generally recommend some Top Recommended Bookshelf Speakers instead which will have even better soundstage.

Sonos Move 2: $399.00 Amazon
Pros: Warm sounding with somewhat rolled off treble. Slightly better midrange clarity than the Move 1.
Cons: Not very loud. This may have some of the same issues at full volume that the Move 1 had too, but I’ll need more sound samples at full volume to verify.
