Short answer: the Zealot S78, if you are buying new, though neither ranks well in its class. The Bumpboxx Flare 6 ranks higher than it (#82 vs #110 of 112 boombox speakers, 2.6/5 vs 2.0/5) but is discontinued, so only consider it used; the Zealot S78 is still sold new at $91.38. Both are rated below 3.0/5 among the 112 boombox speakers, and the Tribit Stormbox Blast, ranked #2 at $179.99, is a better place to start if sound quality matters.
The Bumpboxx Flare 6 is the better-sounding option. A retro styled stereo party speaker with water resistance and a 12 hour battery.
The Zealot S78 is the longer-running, lighter choice. A loud, rugged party speaker with full waterproofing, a power bank and wireless pairing for outdoor parties. It is rated for 40 hours of battery against 12 for the Bumpboxx Flare 6. At 9.7 lbs (4.4 kg) it weighs noticeably less than the Bumpboxx Flare 6 at 13 lbs (5.9 kg). It has an adjustable EQ, which the Bumpboxx Flare 6 lacks. Watch for: At high volume, reviews report distortion and fluctuating level, so its headline power is more useful below its maximum setting.
Buy the Zealot S78 new; the Bumpboxx Flare 6 is no longer sold new, so it only makes sense as a used find.
