Short answer: the Bose Soundlink Flex for bass, the Soundcore Motion 100 for a flatter EQ. The Motion 100 reaches its flattest response with Oluv’s EQ but has not very deep bass, slight distortion, and real-world battery closer to 4 hours at max than the 12 hour claim. The Flex is IP67 rated, rugged enough to survive drops from several feet and floats, though it is not stereo and its warm, overly boosted bass drowns out midrange detail.
Buy the Bose Soundlink Flex. It is rated higher for sound quality; the Soundcore Motion 100 is no longer sold new.
