Short answer: neither is a sound quality pick, so choose on features. The Sony ULT Field 5 is IP67 rated, dustproof and water resistant, but its bass is not as deep as others in the category and the sound overall is just okay. The Bogasing S8 Pro is still not great even in vocal mode, its flattest setting, and sounds sizzling and harsh from huge treble peaks in most sound modes. The Bogasing S8 Pro is discontinued; its replacement is the Bogasing S8 Pro Max.
Buy the Sony ULT Field 5. It is rated higher for sound quality, and the Bogasing S8 Pro is discontinued, so it is only available used.
There is a real battery-life gap here: the Sony ULT Field 5 is rated for 25 hours, the Bogasing S8 Pro only 15 hours.
