Short answer: the Beats Pill 2024. It ranks #78 of 177 medium speakers by sound quality, rated 3.3/5, at $99.95; the LG Xboom Grab ranks #106, rated 3.0/5, and costs $100.98, which makes this an easy call rather than a real tradeoff.
The Beats Pill 2024 is the deeper-bass pick. A compact waterproof speaker with long battery life, fast charging, a power bank port and stereo pairing. Its bass reaches about 56Hz before falling 10dB, against 75Hz for the LG Xboom Grab. Watch for: Boosted upper bass, somewhat thuddy.
The case for the LG Xboom Grab: A rugged waterproof speaker with elastic mounting straps, a long 20 hour battery, multipoint pairing and app room calibration. It has an adjustable EQ, which the Beats Pill 2024 lacks. The catch: Bass extension not as deep as the top speakers.
Buy the Beats Pill 2024. It is rated higher for sound quality than the LG Xboom Grab and costs less, so it is the default pick unless a specific strength of the other one matters more to you.
