The Two Speakers In Full
APS Klasik 2020: $900 Aps-company eBay
Pros: A remarkably capable analogue nearfield monitor with 100W amplification per speaker, balanced XLR and RCA inputs, and three low-frequency adjustment options. Independent review finds its response exceptionally even through the vocal range, with precise, tuneful bass, natural voices, pin-sharp imaging and unusually strong mix detail for the class.
Cons: Its all-analogue design means no streaming, Bluetooth, DSP or automatic room correction. The most extended bass setting loses some precision as volume rises, while the top end is competent rather than the system’s standout feature. It is built for a serious nearfield setup, not all-in-one convenience.

Genelec 8050B: $3800 B&H Photo Video eBay
Pros: Measured -3dB extension of 35.2Hz gives the 8050B deeper native bass than many similarly ranked monitors. The 6.49 ideal-subwoofer score supports broadly balanced listening, with a waveguide and analog boundary controls for practical studio placement.
Cons: A 2.7dB response span from 300Hz to 5kHz and a dip around 2kHz keep it below the strongest tonal performers. Port-related response features and high-level distortion also warrant attention. Unlike the SAM models, it does not provide GLM room calibration.
