The M60 measures a wider 2.8dB midrange spread and its response rises about 0.57dB per octave, trending audibly brighter toward the treble; its -3dB bass extension is a shallower 67Hz. Predicted preference scores back this up: the D3v scores 4.47 standalone and 6.70 with an ideal subwoofer, against the M60’s 3.69 and 6.42.
Both speakers share the same weakness: they are not loud speakers. The D3v’s built-in limiter reduces bass and midrange output as volume rises, with usable maximum output around 89 to 90dB at 1m according to compression testing; deep bass at moderate volume should not be read as high output capability. The M60’s own cons likewise note that limiting and compression constrain louder playback, so it is meant for nearfield listening rather than filling a room.
The M60 is the more convenient speaker to just plug in and use. It adds Bluetooth 5.3 with LDAC, an aux input, a companion app, and included angled stands, none of which the D3v offers; the D3v is analog and USB-C only, with room-adjustment filters instead of app-based EQ. The D3v’s ribbon tweeter and higher 102dB max SPL rating give it more headroom on paper, though the limiter caps how much of that is usable.
Buy the Adam Audio D3v if flat midrange and real bass extension in a tiny desktop footprint matter more to you than wireless convenience.
Buy the Edifier M60 if you want Bluetooth, an aux input, and a lower price, and can live with a brighter tonal balance and less bass extension.

USB-C, analog inputs and placement filters simplify desk setup. Measured bass extension of 50Hz (-3dB), with a measured sensitivity of 86.5dB.
Cons: A rising upper-frequency balance and vertical crossover interference keep it from being uniformly neutral at every angle; aim the tweeters toward ear height. USB-C, auxiliary input, Bluetooth and included angled stands make it easy to integrate into a small desk setup. Measured bass extension of 67Hz (-3dB), with a measured sensitivity of 87.5dB.
Cons: The on-axis response rises by about 0.57dB per octave, so the tonal balance becomes brighter toward the treble. Measured -3dB bass extension is about 70Hz; it cannot reproduce deep bass at full level. Sitting below the tweeter axis worsens the crossover-region response.
