Coverage note. Speaker Ranking currently covers 14 Teufel models across portable bluetooth speakers and pa speakers. These are the products in our database, not a complete list of everything Teufel makes.
What this page covers. The Teufel models ranked here span portable bluetooth speakers and pa speakers, including Teufel Boomster Go, Teufel Rockster XS and Teufel Rockster Cross 2. Use each model’s category position to compare it with alternatives of the same size and use case.
This page lists all 14 Teufel speakers ranked on this site across portable bluetooth speakers and pa speakers. Each model is shown in the category where it competes, with its current rank and the size of that ranking.
Use the category position rather than the brand name alone: speakers from the same manufacturer can perform very differently by size, price and product family.
Prices on this page were last checked October 1, 2026 at 6:23 PM UTC. Product prices and availability are accurate as of that date/time and are subject to change; the price and availability shown on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply to the purchase of this product.

Medium Size Portable Bluetooth Speakers
Ranked #80 of 150 in Medium Size Portable Bluetooth Speakers - Teufel Rockster Go 2: $129.99 Amazon eBay
Older model: the Teufel Rockster Go (ranked lower, rated 2.6/5).
Pros: At 0.74 kg, the IP67 Rockster Go 2 is genuinely easy to carry, and its claimed 28-hour battery life, USB-C fast charging, stereo pairing, and tripod mount suit outdoor use. Independent listening found a balanced, clear midrange and tuneful bass at sensible levels.
Cons: There is no companion app or 3.5 mm input. Reviewers found it loses some definition at maximum volume, and the claimed battery figure is optimistic for loud outdoor playback.

Large Size Portable Bluetooth Speakers
Ranked #22 of 85 in Large Size Portable Bluetooth Speakers - Teufel Rockster Cross 2: €249.99 Teufel eBay
Older model: the Teufel Rockster Cross (ranked lower, rated 4.2/5).
Pros: Keeps the original Rockster Cross’s sound, which was fairly neutral and vocal focused with punchy, well controlled bass, and the new Teufel Go app EQ gets noticeably more bass punch out of it than the original could manage. Claimed battery life more than doubles to 38 hours, or 46 in Eco Mode. USB-C charging with a power bank output and a built-in USB-C sound card, a 3.5mm aux input, multipoint pairing, AAC, and Party Link for a true stereo pair or up to 100 current Teufel speakers.
Cons: It uses the same drivers and amplifier as the 2018 original, so without EQ the two sound almost identical, even at maximum volume, and it measured about the same 101dB. In a direct comparison it struggles somewhat against the Soundcore Boom 2. aptX was dropped, water protection is still only IPX5 (water jets, not submersion), Party Link does not work with the original Cross, and the app’s bass and treble controls are limited. It is not sold in the US.

Ranked #23 of 85 in Large Size Portable Bluetooth Speakers - Teufel Rockster Cross: $249.99 Amazon eBay
Newer model: the Teufel Rockster Cross 2, ranked higher, rated 4.2/5.
Pros: Pretty neutral frequency response. More vocal/midrange-focused than the JBL Xtreme 4, thanks to a larger mid/bass driver: better suited to rock and jazz. Nicer upper-bass detail than the JBL Xtreme 4. Punchy, well-controlled bass that suits rock music, unlike the Soundcore Boom 2 Plus’s overboosted, uncontrolled bass even at stock tuning. Clear, detailed audio with good vocal presence and solid Bluetooth codec support even a couple years after release. Measured bass extension of 51Hz (-10dB).
Cons: Outdoor mode can sound somewhat harsh due to the 4kHz peak. Not as deep or full-sounding in the bass as the JBL Xtreme 4.

Boombox Size Portable Bluetooth Speakers
Ranked #44 of 89 in Boombox Size Portable Bluetooth Speakers - Teufel Boomster 4: €249.99 Teufel eBay
Older models: the Teufel Boomster 2021 (ranked lower, rated 3.4/5) and the Teufel Boomster NG (2017) (ranked lower, rated 3.2/5).
Pros: Warmer and more open than the Boomster 2021 it replaces, with nicer, less harsh highs, a wide stereo image from its three-way layout (two 20mm tweeters, two 65mm midrange drivers and a 110mm woofer with passive radiators) and good detail. Its new treble control and remote let you tame the top end. DAB+ and FM radio, a claimed 23 hours of battery at medium volume, IPX5, Bluetooth 5.0 with AAC and aptX HD, multipoint, an aux input, USB-C charging and stereo pairing.
Cons: Side by side with the Boomster 2021 the sound barely changed, and it has a little less deep bass. Against the Harman Kardon Go + Play 3 it sounds sharper and thinner, with weaker bass and a less natural stereo image, and its bass drops off at full volume. At 3.75 kg it is heavy for its size, it has no power bank output, and IPX5 is a step down from the older model’s IPX7.

Large Party Size Portable Bluetooth Speakers
Ranked #4 of 12 in Large Party Size Portable Bluetooth Speakers - Teufel Rockster 2: $1,269.94 eBay
Pros: Sounds better and more evenly tuned than the JBL Partybox 720. Horn-loaded tweeter gives far more consistent off-axis sound, unlike the Partybox 720’s dual tweeters, which suffer from comb-filtering interference. Gets louder without distorting: the Partybox 720 starts breaking up at high volume well before this does. Projects clearly over long outdoor distances, covering a large area evenly.
Cons: Not quite as deep bass as the JBL Partybox 720. Bass output drops off further at high volume.

Battery-Powered PA Speakers
Ranked #4 of 14 in Battery-Powered PA Speakers - Teufel Rockster Neo: $807.72 eBay
Older model: the Teufel Rockster (rated 4.4/5).
Pros: Similar tuning to the other Teufel speakers: pretty good, but not top of class. Measured bass extension of 46Hz (-3dB).
Cons: Not quite as good sounding as the JBL Partybox 330 or Electro-Voice Everse 12. Bass isn’t as deep as the JBL Partybox 330 or even the JBL Partybox 130.

Ranked #5 of 14 in Battery-Powered PA Speakers - Teufel Rockster Air 2: $599.99 Amazon eBay
Older model: the Teufel Rockster Air (ranked lower, rated 3.4/5).
Pros: More consistent off-axis sound than the JBL Partybox 130, thanks to its single horn-loaded compression driver. Projects sound more evenly to the sides, unlike the JBL’s narrower front-firing dispersion. Cleaner instrument separation at high volume than the JBL Partybox 130, which turns anemic and loses bass at max volume despite its bass boost.
Cons: Bass isn’t as deep as the JBL Partybox 130’s boosted bass, though the JBL’s is boomy rather than truly deep. Bass and treble aren’t perfectly controlled at maximum volume: can sound hollow or too bright unless turned down from default. Not meaningfully louder than its 3-year-old predecessor, and the reviewer found the overall tuning a bit worse.
