Last updated: October 9, 2026

Coverage note. Speaker Ranking currently covers 2 K-array models across pa speakers. These are the products in our database, not a complete list of everything K-array makes.

What this page covers. The K-array models ranked here span pa speakers, including K-array Dragon KX12 and K-array Dragon-KX12 I. Use each model’s category position to compare it with alternatives of the same size and use case.

This page lists all 2 K-array speakers ranked on this site across pa speakers. Each model is shown in the category where it competes, with its current rank and the size of that ranking.

Use the category position rather than the brand name alone: speakers from the same manufacturer can perform very differently by size, price and product family.

K-array Dragon-KX12 I ranking card

Older model: the K-array Dragon KX12 (ranked higher, rated 1.7/5).

Pros: The updated K-array Dragon KX12 with software control and support for K-array’s electronic beam steering, keeping its coaxial 12” woofer and 1.7” compression driver in a stainless steel IP54 cabinet rated at 133dB peak.

Cons: No independent measurements yet, so it can’t be compared with ranked PA speakers. Rated only down to 120Hz (-6dB), it needs subwoofers for any full-range use, and it is sold only through professional dealers.

K-array Dragon KX12 ranking card

Newer model: the K-array Dragon-KX12 I, ranked lower, estimated 1.7/5.

Pros: A slim 201mm deep stainless steel cabinet with a 133dB peak, and the most consistent off-axis tone in this group (2.26dB directivity-index deviation). Measured bass extension of 109Hz (-3dB).

Cons: Vendor measurements give the lowest preference scores here, -4.28 standalone and -0.41 with an ideal subwoofer, because bass stops near 109Hz (-3dB) and the response tilts strongly. It is passive and discontinued, so it is mainly found used.
