This page lists all 4 ADAM Audio speakers ranked on this site across powered speakers. Each model is shown in the category where it competes, with its current rank and the size of that ranking.
Use the category position rather than the brand name alone: speakers from the same manufacturer can perform very differently by size, price and product family.
Small Size Powered Bookshelf Speakers
Ranked #3 of 11 in Small Size Powered Bookshelf Speakers - Adam Audio D3v: $349.99 Amazon
Pros: Compact powered desktop monitor with passive radiators on the sides for extra bass extension, designed specifically for near-field (about 1 meter) listening. Bass extends flat to about 50Hz before rolling off sharply. On-axis linearity holds within about ±2dB - notably better linearity than its similarly-priced rival, the Kali LP-UNF. USB-C plus analog inputs, with the secondary speaker powered through a cable from the primary unit so only one power outlet is needed. Adjustable back-panel settings compensate for desk, wall, corner, or stand placement. Distortion in the midrange is better controlled than the larger Kali LP-UNF at moderate output levels. Smaller footprint than similarly-priced alternatives, useful for tight desk space, while still a clear step up from cheap sub-$150 desktop speakers.
Cons: Built-in limiter chops off both low-frequency and midrange content as output increases - not intended for loud or far-field listening. Best output window is roughly 78-86dB based on multitone distortion testing; long-term compression testing puts effective maximum SPL around 89dB, and instantaneous compression around 90dB. A slight treble tip-up appears around 4-6kHz on-axis. Vertical listening window is tight, typical of compact two-way designs - needs to stay close to the tweeter axis. Narrower horizontal dispersion (about ±60°) and less vertical placement tolerance than the Kali LP-UNF (about ±70° horizontal). The Kali LP-UNF, at the same price, offers roughly 2dB more maximum output and a bit more bass boost, if either matters more than the compact size.

Medium Size Powered Bookshelf Speakers
Ranked #10 of 36 in Medium Size Powered Bookshelf Speakers - Adam Audio T5V: $148.79 Amazon
Pros: Better than the HS5 in terms of vocals detail and better low end.
Cons: Elevated, slightly uneven top end from the AMT tweeter, shared with Adam’s other T-series monitors - the rear treble trim only tilts the response rather than flattening it. Distortion, while better controlled than most speakers in this price range, isn’t reference quality.

Large Size Powered Bookshelf Speakers
Ranked #22 of 31 in Large Size Powered Bookshelf Speakers - Adam Audio T8V: $349.99 Amazon
Pros: Quite balanced and neutral, very close to the Yamaha HS8. Deeper bass than the HS8
Cons: A crossover-region notch around 4.6kHz where tweeter and woofer interact, and a hole in the vertical response below the tweeter axis - keep the tweeter at or above ear height. Distortion is well controlled at 86dB SPL but gets messier at 96dB.

Ranked #23 of 31 in Large Size Powered Bookshelf Speakers - Adam Audio T7V: $289.99 Amazon
Pros: Quite balanced and neutral, very close to the Yamaha HS8. Deeper bass than the HS8
Cons: On-axis response is a bit wider than ideal for a nearfield monitor, and narrow vertical dispersion means you need to sit at tweeter height to get the intended tonal balance, per Audioholics’ measurements. Frequency response below 1kHz also looks a bit ragged in the digitized ASR analysis - not as smooth out of the box as some rivals, though it’s said to respond well to EQ.
