Pros: The 10” model of Monoprice’s SW series, whose measured SW-12 reached 121.2dB in the 40 to 80Hz CEA-2010 bands. It has a 150W RMS (300W peak) amplifier, a down-firing port, variable phase and a variable low pass filter.
Cons: No independent measurements yet, so its output can’t be compared directly with ranked subwoofers; the rating is estimated from the measured SW-12 and SW-15. Monoprice rates it only to 40Hz, so it gives up the deep extension of the larger models, and the cabinet is a large 50cm cube for a 10” sub.
