#14 PMC PMC10-4: $137,500 per pair Estimated Sweetwater eBay

Pros: A three-way active studio main monitor with four 10” woofers in PMC’s ATL transmission-line enclosure, a 75mm soft dome midrange and a 34mm soft dome tweeter, driven by an outboard amplifier and DSP rack. It is the highest-output model in the range, rated to 134dB peak.

Cons: PMC’s published data for it is incomplete, so spinorama.org’s score is not meaningful and the rating is estimated from its measured siblings, the PMC10, PMC12 and PMC15. It needs PMC’s master36 controller and amplifier rack, and it is a pro studio product sold through pro audio dealers.

How it compares: Just above it: PMC PMC15 - $44000 cheaper, 2000W less output power.
