#22 JBL LSR6328P: $2,798 per pair Discontinued eBay
Newer model: the JBL 708P, ranked lower, rated 4.2/5.
Pros: A bi-amplified 8” studio monitor with a 1” tweeter in JBL’s Linear Spatial Reference waveguide, 250W for the woofer and 120W for the tweeter, and RMC room mode correction. Measurements show a very flat on-axis response (0.17 average deviation) and deep bass, 47.5Hz (-3dB), for a preference score of 6.44 that reaches 8.42 with an ideal subwoofer. Measured bass extension of 47.5Hz (-3dB).
Cons: That data is low quality. It weighs 17.7kg each. JBL discontinued it, and its current LSR replacements are not on this site.
How it compares: Just above it: Genelec 8351A - $2900 more, 10W less output power. Just below it: Genelec 1032C - $1476 more, 30W more output power.
