Pros: At 341 g it is light and pocketable, with IPX7 waterproofing, a 20 hour battery rating, a lanyard, TF card playback, app EQ and a speakerphone microphone. It plays louder than the JBL Go 4, and most viewers of Importados Neto Rocha’s comparison picked it over the Go 4.
Cons: Beautiful Zar DJ found the Go 4 warmer with weightier bass, while the Trip 2’s bass is dry and thin, and some listeners found its treble exaggerated. Owners said it sounded poor until a later firmware update. It is a single mono unit with one 42mm driver, bass rated only down to 65Hz, and no aux input.
