Pros: Adds true wireless stereo pairing between two units, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB-C charging, on top of the same flat-response Xbass mode as the original Tribit Maxsound Plus and Tribit Thunderbox Plus. Measured bass extension of 58Hz (-10dB).
Cons: Slightly less deep bass than the best in category. Measured tuning is nearly identical to the original V1, so the upgrade is about connectivity and modes, not sound quality. Discontinued and no longer sold new anywhere.
