#128 RSL CG23 Discontinued Estimated eBay
Newer model: the RSL CG23M, estimated 2.6/5.
Same family: the RSL CG3 (smaller bookshelf, estimated 2.2/5), the RSL CG5 (larger bookshelf, estimated 2.6/5) and the RSL CG25 (larger center, ranked higher, rated 2.5/5).
Pros: A small MTM center with two 4” Kevlar woofers around a 1” silk tweeter in a Compression Guide cabinet, rated at 89dB and usable horizontally or vertically. Audioholics reviewed it as the center of a budget RSL system with the RSL CG3.
Cons: No independent measurements yet, so its tonal balance and directivity can’t be compared with ranked speakers. Rated only from 85Hz, so it needs a subwoofer. It is discontinued, replaced by the RSL CG23M.
