KEF T301c - ranked #71 of 71 Center Channel Speakers · Editor's rating 2/5

#71 KEF T301c: $499.99 each Discontinued eBay

Pros: An ultra-thin center only 35mm deep, built to hang flat on a wall under a TV, with a 1” aluminum tweeter and two 4.5” flat midrange/bass drivers. Measured bass extension of 159.7Hz (-3dB).

Cons: Audio Science Review measured a very uneven on-axis response (2.24dB average deviation) and a listening window spanning 5.2dB from 300Hz to 5kHz, for a negative preference score (-0.51) without a subwoofer. Bass rolls off at 159.7Hz (-3dB), so it depends entirely on a subwoofer. Discontinued.

How it compares: Just above it: RSL CG25 - $75 cheaper.
