#113 JBL Project K2 S9900: $44,000 per pair Discontinued eBay

Pros: JBL’s former flagship: a three-way horn speaker with a 15” pulp cone woofer, a 4” magnesium compression driver on a Bi-Radial horn and a 1” beryllium ultra-high-frequency driver. Sensitivity is 93dB. Measurements show a preference score of 4.86 that reaches 6.82 with an ideal subwoofer, with 0.41 listening window deviation. Measured bass extension of 56.8Hz (-3dB).

Cons: It is very large and was sold through JBL Synthesis dealers. JBL no longer makes it. Bass reaches 56.8Hz (-3dB) and about 33Hz (-10dB). That data is low quality. Discontinued.

How it compares: Just above it: Klipsch Icon KF-26 - $21650 cheaper, 4Hz higher bass extension (-3dB). Just below it: CSS Criton 3TD-X DIY - 5.2Hz lower bass extension (-3dB).
