Pros: A compact three-way JBL studio monitor with a 5.25” white pulp woofer, a 2” midrange, a 0.75” titanium tweeter and level controls. Audio Science Review measured a preference score of -0.32 that reaches 2.99 with an ideal subwoofer, with 0.94 listening window deviation. Measured bass extension of 117.2Hz (-3dB).
Cons: Audio Science Review found a very uneven response (1.66 average on-axis deviation) and limited bass, 117.2Hz (-3dB). JBL no longer sells it. Bass reaches 117.2Hz (-3dB) and about 66Hz (-10dB). Discontinued.
