#24 Infinity Interlude IL60: $3,000 per pair Discontinued eBay

Pros: A four-way tower with a 1” dome tweeter, a 4” midrange, a 6.5” midbass and a built-in 12” subwoofer driven by its own 500W amplifier. Infinity’s measurements show a very flat on-axis response (0.12 average deviation), for a preference score of 7.99 that reaches 8.61 with an ideal subwoofer. Sensitivity is 89dB.

Cons: That data comes from Infinity and has not been independently verified. The powered subwoofer needs mains power, and it weighs 34kg each. Infinity ended its home speaker line. Discontinued.

How it compares: Just above it: KEF Reference 5 - $17500 more, 1Hz higher bass extension (-3dB). Just below it: JBL HDI-3800 - $3500 more, 3Hz higher bass extension (-3dB).
