Pros: An LCR speaker for the Rubikore range that works as a center channel on its side or as a front speaker upright. It uses the Rubikore hybrid tweeter (29mm soft dome plus 17 x 45mm planar) between two 6.5” wood fiber woofers, with 89dB sensitivity and output to 111dB.
Cons: No independent measurements yet, so its tonal balance and directivity can’t be compared directly with measured speakers; the rating is estimated from the measured Rubikore 6. Laid horizontally, the woofers either side of the tweeter narrow its dispersion, so off-center seats hear less treble. Bass is rated to 49Hz and it is a 4 ohm load.
