Pros: The 2005 Diamond version of the B&W 805S, with a diamond dome tweeter in the Nautilus tube enclosure above a 6.5” woofer. What Hi-Fi praised its astonishing detail, and Hi-Fi News noted great image depth.
Cons: No independent measurements yet, so its tonal balance and directivity can’t be compared with ranked speakers. Hi-Fi News found it not tonally neutral, with a scooped upper midrange and lower treble that soften the sound, and What Hi-Fi found it easier to admire than love. It is discontinued.
