#154 ADS L520: $380 per pair Discontinued eBay
Pros: A vintage two-way from ADS with a woofer and a soft dome tweeter. Measurements show a preference score of 4.15 that reaches 6.13 with an ideal subwoofer, with 0.57 listening window deviation. Measured bass extension of 51.1Hz (-3dB).
Cons: The on-axis response is less even (0.64 average deviation). ADS stopped making it decades ago. Bass reaches 51.1Hz (-3dB) and about 35Hz (-10dB). That data is low quality. Discontinued.
How it compares: Just above it: Cambridge SoundWorks Model Six - $71 cheaper. Just below it: Advent New Advent Loudspeaker - $65 cheaper.
