Listening-window narrow-band deviation is a low 0.186 and predicted in-room smoothness is 0.703, so vocals and stage-monitor mixes stay clean. Cons: This passive monitor needs an L-Acoustics amplified controller such as the LA4X or LA12X to work at all. Its narrow 40° x 60° pattern suits a stage monitor but covers less of a room than wider mains. Bass reaches only about 73Hz (-3dB), so a subwoofer is still needed for full-range music.
