Pros: Vendor Spinorama data shows very deep bass for a 12-inch class box, about 40Hz (-3dB) with an ideal-subwoofer extension of 36Hz, and a standalone preference score of 4.94. Dual 12-inch woofers plus a dedicated 6-inch midrange give 129dB continuous and 135dB peak output, which lets one cabinet handle full-range music without a subwoofer. Measured bass extension of 40Hz (-3dB).
Cons: The dual-woofer, 3-way cabinet is bulkier than a conventional 12-inch top. Listening-window narrow-band deviation is 0.436 and the vertical coverage is very narrow, so aiming matters. Pricing is quoted by dealers and is high.
