#17 ION Total PA Apex: $179.97 each Costco $179.97 eBay
Pros: Deejays’ Tech Review found it very loud with crisp sound and strong bass for its price. It pairs a 12 inch woofer with a 1 inch tweeter, runs on a 6 to 8 hour battery or AC power, and comes with a wireless microphone and a speaker stand. A second XLR and 1/4 inch combo microphone input, XLR line input, mix output, USB playback, EQ presets, a light show, stereo linking, wheels and a telescoping handle round it out.
Cons: ION publishes no power rating, it has no water resistance, and at 13.2 kg it is a heavy battery PA speaker. It is sold mainly at Costco.
