Pros: Very loud for a single box, specified at 143dB peak with 108dB sensitivity, and the on-axis response is the flattest of every speaker in this import (0.10dB average deviation). Vendor measurements give 4.20 on its own and 6.85 with an ideal subwoofer, with bass to 67Hz at -3dB and about 55Hz at -10dB. Measured bass extension of 67Hz (-3dB).
Cons: Directivity is less uniform than Fulcrum’s smaller coaxials (4.35dB variation in the directivity index), and the predicted in-room response is not smooth (0.52). At 48.5kg and 759mm square it needs serious rigging, and it is sold through pro dealers with no published price.
