Pros: The current HOPS12 with two 12” neodymium woofers and a 1.4” coaxial neodymium mid/high driver, rotatable 90 x 60 or 60 x 40 degree coverage, 2000W AES power handling and a 144dB peak rating. Rated 44Hz to 22kHz (-6dB).
Cons: No independent measurements yet, so its tonal balance and directivity can’t be compared directly with measured speakers; the rating is estimated from its measured predecessor. Its predecessor measured poorly on axis, so the range is wide. It weighs 34kg and is sold through pro audio dealers only.
