#20 Alcons Audio LR7 with LR7B Passive eBay
Pros: Measured as a system with its flown 12-inch bass module, it reaches 41Hz at -3dB and about 37Hz at -10dB in vendor data, and the pro-ribbon tweeter gives low treble distortion. The tiny 8kg LR7 box suits theaters and houses of worship where a line array must stay discreet. Measured bass extension of 41.2Hz (-3dB).
Cons: Directivity is uneven (4.09dB variation in the directivity index) and the predicted in-room response is rough (0.42 smoothness), giving scores of 2.47 on its own and 4.31 with an ideal subwoofer. It needs Alcons Sentinel amplified controllers and is sold through dealers with no published price.
