#992 ivipQ Conch V12: 29.00 eBay
Pros: A published AutoEQ preset corrects its response toward the Harman target, so a few minutes of EQ setup closes most of the gap.
Cons: About 5 dB less bass than the Harman target below 150 Hz, which can sound thin on pop, hip hop and electronic music. Treble about 6 dB below target from 3 to 10 kHz, which can sound dull or veiled next to brighter headphones. An uneven response, 2.7 dB standard deviation from target.
Is the ivipQ Conch V12 right for you?
Buy it if
- you are sensitive to bright or sharp treble (treble sits 6.0 dB below target).
- you are happy to use EQ: our preset lifts its Harman match by about 21 points.
Skip it if
- you want more bass (about 5 dB below target).
- you want the best value: the higher-rated EPZ G10 costs about $5 less.

Frequency Response
How the ivipQ Conch V12 measures across the audible range, against the Harman in-ear target that most listeners prefer in blind tests. Where the line sits above the target that range sounds louder (more bass, brighter treble), below it quieter. The curve is the median of 3 independent measurements, so one odd sample or rig cannot skew it, and both lines are shifted so their 500 Hz to 2 kHz average sits at 0 dB.
Measurement data: median of 3 measurements from the squig.link databases of dchpgall, silicagel and soundcheck39. Thanks to each of them for publishing their work.
