#277 Sony MDR-CD380 Discontinued eBay

Pros: An inexpensive closed-back from 2000 that measures surprisingly well (Harman score 65), light at 210 g and easy to drive at 104 dB/mW.

Cons: Discontinued, so it is mainly found used. A bright tilt (+0.95) and a 2.79 dB spread from the target can make cymbals and vocals edgy, and the long 3.5 m cord is fixed.
