#154 KZ x Crinacle CRN Discontinued eBay
Pros: The median of 5 hobbyist measurements gives it a very good Harman preference score of 78 with a 1.70 dB spread, and its mids sit within about 1.4 dB of target, so vocals and instruments sound natural. Bass sits close to target and holds down to 20 Hz, so low end sounds full without bloat. It uses 1 x 10mm dynamic, 1 x balanced armature, 1 x 6.8mm electrostatic with an easy 25 ohm load.
Cons: Discontinued, so it is mainly found used. Presence sits about 3.1 dB low with a 4.3 dB dip near 11.5 kHz, so vocals and instruments lose some bite. A 4.9 dB peak near 7.9 kHz can make cymbals and sibilance sound sharp.
