#312 Hisenior Mega5EST Discontinued eBay
Newer model: the Hisenior Mega5EST 7th Anniversary Edition, ranked higher, rated 4/5. See every Hisenior Mega5EST generation.
Pros: The median of 37 hobbyist measurements gives it a solid Harman preference score of 74 with a 1.81 dB spread. Bass sits close to target and holds down to 20 Hz, so low end sounds full without bloat. Upper treble lifts about 2.8 dB for extra air and sparkle. It uses 1 x 10mm dynamic + 2 x balanced armature + 2 x electrostatic with an easy 25 ohm load.
Cons: Discontinued, so it is mainly found used. Presence sits about 4.6 dB low with a 6.1 dB dip near 5.6 kHz, so vocals and instruments lose some bite.
