#1093 Hidizs MM2: $79.00 Discontinued eBay
Pros: A dynamic plus planar hybrid with full sub bass to 20 Hz and bass about 3 dB above target, for a warm, full low end, while presence from 2 to 5 kHz sits right on target so vocals stay clear.
Cons: Upper bass is nearly 4 dB above target, which thickens the sound, and a 7 dB dip around 5.3 to 5.9 kHz followed by a 5 dB peak near 7.9 kHz makes the treble uneven. Low 104 dB sensitivity needs more volume, and it is discontinued.
Is the Hidizs MM2 right for you?
Buy it if
- you like extra bass (about +3 dB below 150 Hz versus the target).
- you want sub-bass rumble that reaches down to 20 Hz.
- you are happy to use EQ: our preset lifts its Harman match by about 23 points.
Skip it if
- you want to buy it new: it is discontinued.

- Reviews, Comparisons and Sound Samples
Frequency Response
How the Hidizs MM2 measures across the audible range, against the Harman in-ear target that most listeners prefer in blind tests. Where the line sits above the target that range sounds louder (more bass, brighter treble), below it quieter. The curve is the median of 4 independent measurements, so one odd sample or rig cannot skew it, and both lines are shifted so their 500 Hz to 2 kHz average sits at 0 dB.
Measurement data: median of 4 measurements from the squig.link databases of achoreviews, hobbytalk, pw and soundignity. Thanks to each of them for publishing their work.
