The case for the Edifier R2850DB: A big three way powered pair with deep bass, enough output for a large room, and Bluetooth, optical and RCA inputs. Watch for: The big cabinets need real stand or furniture space, and their bass is slightly boomy.
Buy the Yamaha HS7. It is rated higher for sound quality, and saving $199.99 with the Edifier R2850DB does not make up for the sound-quality gap.
