W-King D20 vs X20

Last updated: August 8, 2026

Short answer: the D20, and it’s also the cheaper one. It ranks #27 of 71 boombox speakers at $225; the X20 ranks #28 at $249.99, $25 more for a slightly lower placement.

The measured complaints are identical. Both share the exact same cons in our notes: a rising frequency response with the upper treble rolled off, plus peaks at 700 Hz and 1.2kHz. Whatever separates these two, it isn’t the underlying tuning.

The D20’s headline feature is two bundled wireless microphones, useful for karaoke or outdoor announcements without buying anything extra. The X20 leans harder into raw power specs instead: a 7.5-inch subwoofer, 330W peak against the D20’s 200W, and a combined 240W in TWS stereo mode.

Battery and charging round out the X20’s case. It lists a 24-hour battery with power bank function, where the D20’s listing doesn’t specify one, though both otherwise share the same IPX6 rating, app EQ, and Bluetooth feature set.

Buy the D20 for the lower price, the slightly better ranking, and the bundled microphones. Buy the X20 if the extra peak power and power bank function are worth the premium to you.
