The Ultimate Ears Megaboom 4 is the longer-running choice. IP67 rated, floats, and finally uses USB-C charging. It is rated for 20 hours of battery against 15 for the Ultimate Ears Boom 3. It charges over USB-C rather than Micro USB. Watch for: A lot of distortion at higher volumes.
Buy the Ultimate Ears Boom 3. It is rated higher for sound quality than the Ultimate Ears Megaboom 4 and costs less, so it is the default pick unless a specific strength of the other one matters more to you.

Cons: Not stereo, barely any bass, recessed treble. You can tell from the micro USB that they are just feeding you the same crap hardware over and over, this is inexcusable for a product released in 2021. Lots of mentions of failing batteries on amazon. Not technically a 360 speaker, only front and rear.
