Short answer: the Ultimate Ears Boom 3 for better sound quality, the Tribit Stormbox for the lower price. The Ultimate Ears Boom 3 ranks #89 of 136 medium speakers at $109. The Tribit Stormbox ranks #93 at $68, $41 cheaper.
What the Ultimate Ears Boom 3 gets right: Rich and warm bass without muddying mix, crisp highs, excellent 15-hour battery life, stable Bluetooth connectivity, IP67 rated and floats, rugged fabric shell, can pair up to 150 speakers via PartyUp. The catch: Not stereo, barely any bass, recessed treble.

Buy the Ultimate Ears Boom 3 if sound quality matters more than the price. Buy the Tribit Stormbox if the price matters more than sound quality.

Ultimate Ears Boom 3: $109.00 Amazon
Pros: Rich and warm bass without muddying mix, crisp highs, excellent 15-hour battery life, stable Bluetooth connectivity, IP67 rated and floats, rugged fabric shell, can pair up to 150 speakers via PartyUp
Cons: Not stereo, barely any bass, recessed treble. You can tell from the micro USB that they are just feeding you the same crap hardware over and over, this is inexcusable for a product released in 2021. Lots of mentions of failing batteries on amazon. Not technically a 360 speaker, only front and rear.

Tribit Stormbox: $68 Amazon
Pros: IPX7 water resistant, dual pairing for stereo setup, excellent battery life (20 hours), instant on/off buttons, 97dB max volume
Cons: Muffled sounding, treble dips from 5khz-12khz. Listening from the front is the worst frequency response, lay it down facing up with xbass off for the smoothest response. Not technically a 360 speaker, only front and rear.
