Short answer: the Turtlebox Ranger, if you are buying new. The Teufel Rockster XS ranks higher than it (#35 vs #65 of 166 medium speakers, 3.9/5 vs 3.5/5) but is discontinued, so only consider it used; the Turtlebox Ranger is still sold new at $250.
What the Turtlebox Ranger does well: Smoother frequency response than the other Turtlebox speakers. It charges over USB-C rather than Micro USB. The catch: Bass sounds kind of thuddy and isn’t as deep as higher ranked speakers.
The Teufel Rockster XS is the better-sounding, lighter option. A good sounding speaker for its size. At 1.6 lbs (720 g) it weighs noticeably less than the Turtlebox Ranger at 2.4 lbs (1.09 kg). It keeps a wired aux input, which the Turtlebox Ranger lacks. It plays in stereo from a single unit, unlike the Turtlebox Ranger. The catch: Bass does not reach as deep as others, and it was only sold in Europe.
Buy the Turtlebox Ranger if you want one new; the Teufel Rockster XS is discontinued, so only look for it used.

Pros: Smoother frequency response than the other Turtlebox speakers. Has magnets for attaching it to things. Appears to be quite tough
Cons: Bass sounds kind of thuddy and isn’t as deep as higher ranked speakers. Overpriced. Heavy for the size, likely due to the toughness
